Corrections Policy
We want every guide on Money Map Makers to be accurate and current. This page explains how we handle corrections when something falls short of that.
Reporting an issue
If you find a factual error, an outdated figure, a broken link, or anything else that looks wrong, email [email protected] with the page URL and a description of the issue. Specific reports are easier for us to verify and fix quickly than general feedback.
How we evaluate reports
We review each report against the type of sources described in our Methodology & Sources page. Because our figures are presented as estimated ranges rather than fixed facts, not every report of a "different" number is an error — but we do correct cases where a range is clearly outdated, where a factual statement about how a cost works is wrong, or where a guide misstates something structural (for example, a fee that no longer applies).
Making the correction
When we confirm a correction is needed, we update the guide directly and update its "last reviewed" date to reflect the change. For material corrections — ones that would have changed a reader's planning decision — we do not silently edit the page; the updated review date itself signals that the content has changed since it was first published.
What this policy does not cover
This policy covers factual and structural corrections to our editorial content. It does not cover disagreements about travel style preferences, destination choices, or opinions, since those are inherently subjective. It also does not extend to disputes with third parties such as airlines, hotels, or booking platforms, which we are not able to mediate.
